Found a mistake, something that doesn't work, or an idea? Email us (address coming soon). For a wrongly turned-down or missed item, include its title; it helps improve the model.
It isn't turning anything down
- Open the toolbar button and check it's switched on, not paused, and that the site (YouTube or Reddit) is on under “More options”.
- In Safari, choose “Always Allow on This Website” for youtube.com and reddit.com when asked, or in Safari's Extensions settings.
- It reads English. Titles in other languages are left alone.
It turned down something harmless
Click Show on the note to see it. To never filter a channel or subreddit, click Always show. To turn down less of a topic, set it to Less or Show in the toolbar button.
It missed something
Set the topic to Hide, or add a word or name under “Also hide anything mentioning”. It reads titles and comments, not images or video, so some things will get through.
Taking a break from it
“Pause for 1 hour” in the toolbar button shows everything until the hour is up. The switch at the top turns it off until you turn it back on.
Removing it
In Chrome, right-click the toolbar button and choose “Remove from Chrome”. In Firefox, use Add-ons and themes. In Safari, uncheck it in Safari's Extensions settings, then delete the app.
